Teachers boost student literacy…via Nintendo game systems!!

    It's great to use something like this in the classroom for some kids, and there is a ton of educational software being developed that takes advantage of these tools, but is it more than a gimmick? Maybe there's an issue in the curriculum and approach at an earlier level in the system? Would this become a crutch that teachers would rely on?

    It's good to see more educational programs are embracing technology to help aid in the learning process. The gaming & learning concept has been out for awhile and the trick to making it effective is the software. Are students really learning? Does it reflect on their understanding rather than the "physical gaming"? These results will take awhile to ripple through the school system but if done correctly, it can help motivate students to become active in learning and sustaining their new knowledge.
